threeplusfireToday is set aside for the contemplating of proper answers to give to Americorps on my application. I've got one person lined up to write a recommendation, and I'm going to hit another one up tonight. Need to work up a resume sometime tonight too. This is quite a hefty application. I don't think I've filled out anything this long since I applied for college, and I did that all online.
Deb's AC died. Yuck. She's stuck waiting around for the repair man. This heat is not fit for human beings, as a Canadian once told me. I want to swim, but our pool is not very deep so the water does not stay cold. Seriously tempted to go down to Barton Springs this week, even though the drive is a pain.
Maybe I'll just hide in the bath tub and drink root beer.
