Tonight we saw Stardust, and it was wondrous. This is a movie you should see. It's been a long time since I heard a fairy tale that I loved. Gaiman does such amazing things with his stories, and I was quite delighted with the film adaptation of his story. Cheers to you, good sir.

In less happy news, my crown came off again. I am too tired to be hysterical about it, but my mouth hurts and I can't eat. To the dentist tomorrow, a prospect even more dreadful than work.

*wails*

I want to seeee it. But I have $8.50 in my bank account and have to spend $5 of that on a prescription in the next couple of days. :P

I'll just have to settle for reading the book. It's on the top of my stack of books to be shelved once I get book shelves. Heh.

Sorry about the crown. *cringes* I can't imagine how awful that must be.

Awww. Well, there are some differences but I think it's not too bad.

Evil crown, evil crown.

I will keep myself quite so as not to spoil the excitement for you. :)

I don't know WHEN I'll be able to see it, stupid stupid schedules. I could go now--I'm tempted to go now, but I SHOULD wait for Dave

Work hopefully will seem better to get to when you read the e-mail from Wendy Mathis: posting for THREE peer trainers is up and the deadline is Friday to apply.

I kinda see this as the reason why you didn't get the grammar-obsessed job. ;)

It really was hilarious to see the ghost brothers spectating. :)

Zing!

"Spectating" is such a perfect word right there.

I was at the dentist today for a cleaning and I had to change my address at the front desk after. I had to wait a little while because the person behind the desk was on the phone talking to someone about problems with a crown from another dentist. A lot of that going around, apparently.

Blame it on the heat?

Something's certainly going around!

Maybe get a new crown made? (Especially so if you get frustrated with work to the point of wanting to quit again... state insurance is better than most of what you can find elsewhere.)

*comfort* about the pain... tooth pain really is like no other. =(

Ironically, I don't have any dental insurance because my dentist doesn't take it! Bleah. Tooth pain is the uber-lame. what makes me nuts is the sudden craving for solid foods that would not be good. I can chew, but I don't want to aggravate the tissue too much.

Sorry about the tooth. *gentle hugs*

Seeing Stardust is on my to do list for this weekend. Your review just makes me want to see it even more.

I think the reason there are three positions is so that they can hire you and the "more tenured" people that they feel like they have to hire. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hmm, you liked Stardust, eh? I thought it was pretty "eh." Was very disappointed with how all the gritty bits of the star's personality were taken out. I mean, come on: Her first word on Earth was supposed to be "fuck!"

But it was very nice, for Hollywood.

Sorry to hear about the crown! That's ass. :(

Hahah, I did miss her prickly parts. Some of the things that make it so Gaiman didn't make it through. But for a fairy tale story on the movie screen, I thought it was nice.
