it is raining in New York

I woke up this morning to rain, and thunder at 6:17am. The grey, eerie light filled the rooms, and all I wanted was to stay home. It's raining in New York too, I learned from Racheline's post and how we're both thinking about the strange perfect weather. It is a Tuesday again, like the the one in 2001. It was Tuesday, a day without classes and I spent what felt like the entire day watching the news. On the steps at the UT Tower that night, there were hundreds of candles and the wax stains are still visible. It is all still strange and awful, and I don't know what to say about it even six years later.

It's raining here in New Hampshire too, and there are eerie noises off in the distance. I need to go light some candles, I think.
