I drove out to Cedar Park this morning to take Koshka to the vet. He has giardia, bleagh, which causes stinkiness and unfun. So now he gets fish flavor medicine to kill the bacteria and then yogurt. Poor kitty. He did very well at the vet though, and purred a lot for my mother and Mary Paige. I think he liked getting all that attention. Since we've been home, he hasn't hidden or acted too mad with me. I think it helped that my sister gave him these chicken treats he just wolfed down.

I have to go pick up medicine this afternoon, pack packages and go to the post office, find time to hit the grocer store, wait on the fedex guy, get my phone all set up, and on and on. Plus, my kitchen is full of ants! I'm already done with this day! Ergh.

Oooh, ass disease! Very common, very easy to clear up (and, um, things will be ever so much nicer when it's cleared up). Bowie had that... actually, a friend of mine had it once.

Ants in the kitchen are so, so irritating. It has (knock wood) been several years since I had tem, but the last instance was memorable. We'd gotten Golden Chick takeout, and left the leftovers on the counter because their chicken is not good enough to save to reheat the next day. And by the next day, the box was positively swarming with little black grease ants. Bleargh!

I hope Koshka feels better and is less stinky soon. =)
