Alright, I know many of my friendslist are more knowledgeable than me. I love Ghost in The Shell, and Vampire Hunter D. I've watched Lain and I grew up with the original Aeon Flux shorts on Liquid Television. What I want are recommendations for your favorite anime, manga, etc. Tell me. Share! I need things to watch.

The husband is into anime. Names I recognize from this page: Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop (for the corgi if nothing else!) Neon Genesis Evangelion, Millennium Actress. Those are all ones I know he has watched and talked about and we might even have on DVD. I don't watch them all the way through, but I do enjoy the doggie in Cowboy Bebop.

On the silly end of things, Azumanga Daioh is so f-ing cute, your teeth will hurt. I have all of it on DVD.
