There's no better coffee drink in this weather than a peppermint mocha. It makes a cold sunny day even more shiny. Though I did make sure I had other creamer for people visiting my home who don't like peppermint mixed in their chocolate. Which reminds me, I need to figure out what sort of beverages to serve with the cakes. What should I have? I have a totally random red, and a random Riesling that I was hoping might be sweet enough for Mike to drink, but I suppose I should consider options.

In the end I ordered two cakes this morning. I couldn't decide on one, and there were very strong opinions involved. Not wanting to choose between my partner and my close friend, I bought both the Lemon Rosemary AND a chocolate cake. Delicious. They will get picked up Sunday morning. I also checked on my dinner reservations and updated since my dear genetic will be here. I am so happy that he and Sarah will be my representative friends for this ceremony. (Not that I don't love everyone else, mind you.) Sometime before 4pm I need to pick up Mike's tuxedo. I have just about everything except hose. I ordered some in the red matching my dress, along with a pair of shoes on sale. Fucking FedEx left the package on my doorstep. I think my "I'm going to pretend I don't speak English" neighbors might have stolen it. Ugh. I am so mad. Stupid FedEx. They always make my life hard.

But I have my Madden heels to wear anyway, with my red cocktail dress, my fur stole, my beautiful circlet and jewelry from Wyrding Studios. I just need to tough up the hair dye, and maybe think about finishing my wedding vows. Haha.
