threeplusfireWhether it was my own weather mojo, or having a Wiccan priestess officiate, we had the most perfect weather possible yesterday afternoon. It was bright and sunny, almost 70 degrees and with just a few breezes. Four of the ten people present had cameras, so I am certain there will be some pictures to post soon. Stacy gave a beautiful presentation of the ceremony. Mike and I managed our vows without tearing up mostly, and we didn't drop the rings. It was pretty much exactly what I had hoped for - small, simple, elegant and nontraditional.
(It was also very much the Wyrding Studios advertisement, as almost every woman there was wearing at least one piece from them, haha. My tiara/circlet has a very pointy crystal right in the center which we have declared my unicorn horn.)
Then there was dinner of epic tastiness, at Z'Tejas, and cake at home. Koshka did not seem fazed by the large number of people in our house.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alteredhistory stopped by for cake, and we made inappropriate jokes about his last Wiil and Testament leaving us the Wii if his flight to Ukraine lands unsafely. Later we had a couple drinks at Opal Divine's before we declared ourselves old and went to bed. All in all I would say it was a good day.
I am so exhausted I can't even think about cleaning up the living room right now though.
