I've never been the type to put political bumper stickers on my car. The only bumper stickers I ever put on were the Cthulhu fish on my first car, and a Texas Exes on the Honda. Mostly this is because I'm concerned about getting a window bashed in, because I know when I see Bush/Cheney stickers I develop a sudden temper. Anyhow, the Obama crowd was out in force. I saw a woman jogging this morning on Far West Boulevard carrying an Obama sign. They were the only faction present near my polling place and they had Krispy Kremes. They gave me a couple nifty stickers while we talked about the lines and the caucus tonight. One is about three inches long and an inch tall, with brightly colored letters that read "Hope." I cleaned off a spot on my rear windshield for it.

Last night I kept waking up over and over. I've run errands since 7:30am. Mike hasn't even stopped hitting the snooze button. hah. Well, I did forget cheese at the grocery store but remembered the copious amounts of tomato and peppers for lasagna. Despite turning the wrong way on a one way street during morning rush, I made it to the polling place and voted this morning. It felt good to vote, even just for the primary. The voting crowd was a splendid mix of young, middle and older people, college kids and PTA moms, a judge, all sorts of people talking and waiting in line.

I didn't put any stickers on my car for the same reason. Must be nice to sleep in like that for Mr. Mike. I have started getting up at 5:30 M-F to go to the gym before work, it isn't as difficult for me as I thought. It certainly beats dealing with the crowds after work, or dragging yourself out of the house at 8:00pm.
