I never saved anything for the way back

I finished reading Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro this afternoon. It was unsettling, unexpected and staggeringly beautiful. What seemed so ordinary at first was revealed to be monumentally strange. It's made me so sad. But it is quite a good book, I think more people should read it.
