We went to the Monsters of Rock sing-a-long at the downtown Drafthouse tonight. (Yay 80's hair metal!) Now Mike is teaching himself "Enter Sandman" and the cat appears curiously bemused. I am full of longing for Skid Row songs, and a whole world that was never anything but daydreaming for me. If I had been a teenager in the late 80's I probably would have run away to LA to do drugs and see bands.

Thankfully I was only 12-13 and wouldn't even know how to take care of myself out there. My entire room was plastered (even the ceiling above my bed) with metal posters. And heh, I -still- like Sebastian Bach :).
