James & Stephen are out of town, so I'm taking care of their kittens. OMG, kittehs. they are terribly cute, still in that wee stage where one of them can climb up the back of your leg and shirt to your shoulder to demand your attention. They leap onto me the second I step in the door, purring as loud as little rock tumblers. They don't even give me a hard time about their medicine for their colds.

This evening we watched Stalker, directed by Tarkovsky. It was pretty good, and very atmospheric. I read the wiki entry about the film and apparently the outdoor shots were done in Estonia. It's beautiful and vaguely terrifying.

Must meet said kittehs. Perhaps after I close on Prairie Hen and don't feel quite so awkward around alteredhistory anymore.

I remember when my guys were that little. I'm pretty sure one of 'em did the "climb up daddy's back" bit once or twice too.

Yes, we're getting a house up in wells branch. It's pretty awesome. We are closing on Aug 15.
