Every show at the Alamo was sold out tonight. We ended up sitting in the second row, almost underneath the screen. When the temperatures have been over 100 degrees for more than 30 days straight the only sane activity outside of the house is the movie theater. We saw Hellboy II, which was awesome. The effects are beautiful. I wish we could have seen more of the Troll Market, and the elves. One thing I never, ever want to see again? Tooth fairies. I shudder when I think of it.

We saw the new Mummy movie for Friday lunch. Dragons + yetis = win! But the sound wasn't on when the movie started... it only took them 2 or 3 minutes to get it on (and that part had been subtitled in English anyway), but they came around with rain check tickets for us because of the sound glitch. So we might finally go see Wall-E today.

It occurs to me that A) I really need an Alamo icon, and B) when the hell does Iron Man come out on DVD? I want to see it again. =)
