Here are some pictures at last. We are slowly getting everything cleaned up, pictures hung, and everything arranged. The only room still full of boxes is the library. Pictures of the yard and other rooms coming in the near future.

It is incredibly comfortable, easy to clean, good to sit forward or sideways... it is pretty awesome. It is the contemporary chair from Lack's Furniture. (It also comes in brown and olive) It was a wedding present from Mike's parents, which was super awesome.

Those are indeed awesome shoes (and I don't even wear shoes anymore), and Koshka looks perfectly at home. =) Would you like to trade him for a sweet, extremely soft elderly cat who happens to think you should GET OUT OF BED at the first sign of movement in the morning so you can feed her two hours hence?

Lily liked sleeping in fireplaces back when we lived in the apartment off Greystone. The previous owners had apparently liked fires. Lily does not like baths. We made sure the screen blocking the fireplace was included with the deal when we bought our first house.

first, that chair is awesome. i'm extremely envious. next time i move, i'm splurging on the ultimate comfy chair... yet to be determined, but i'll find it!

i also envy the china cabinet. i keep fancy glasses on the off chance that one day, i too will have a glass-fronted cabinet of some kind to display them in.

what you did with the fireplace is brilliant. it looks like cat heaven. hell, the whole place looks amazingly comfortable and artistic. =)

I can take very little credit for how nice the house looks. The previous owner closed the chimney and put up the nice fireplace mantle. I did put the cat bed there! :D

I love that red chair Koshka is sleeping on. When did you get it? I don't remember you having it before. Also, Truong got a huge kick out of the cat bed in the fireplace and I love that your kitchen cabinets have glass faces so you can see what's inside!

Mike's parents bought it while they were visiting, and it was delivered in early January. I'm glad Truong appreciates the awesomeness of the kitty cave fireplace.

Those look awesome. The ones I got are Privo's (http://zeta.zappos.com/product/7353817/color/347) but I got them much cheaper at DSW. They didn't have the green ones though.

I found them at DSW, they are privo floats. They were at least twenty bucks less than the price at most other places.
