raffle musings

The more I think about it, the more serious I get about having a raffle type thing to benefit The Cat House on the Kings. It just looks like such an amazing place. I'm trying to think of what to get and how to set it all up. I wonder if I should make up some sets/bags of things like soap or candy. I have a couple pieces of jewelry I would put up, maybe the LOTR film cell thing I got when Return of the King came out and we saw the triple feature at the Gateway.

Any thoughts, ideas, interest?

I LOVE the idea of a raffle. As someone who's on the board for an animal rescue (The New York Hamster House! Yay!) I think this is a lovely and wonderful idea.
And if I can get shinies out of it, too, that's doubly good.

I have no experience with running raffles, but you could also do a donation fishbowl at your place when you have a housewarming.

Studying is making me cranky because people are stupid.

Do you happen to have any quotes, a line from a poem, a book, a song you can toss at me? I want to write something. I did some insane warcraft crack fic but that's run into a rut.
