would you like more vinegar on your balsmatic rice, sir?

From a complaint about the packaging of doll clothes that were wrinkled: We iron our granddaughter's own clothes before she goes to kindergarden each morning and she would have been upset that Santa brought her baby doll's clothes looking so sloppy. I have a hard, hard time believing Grandma gets up every morning to iron Little Angel's clothes before kindergarten. Why iron a five year old kid's clothes anyhow?

From a restaurant review: The only drawbacks are: 1) the rice wasn't what I expect from a Mediterranean restaurant. It didn't have saffron and it wasn't as light and fluffy as other balsmatic rice I've had. 2) they don't have beer on the tap. *facepalm* The word you are looking for here is basmati, genius. Unless there's a Mediterranean restaurant out there serving rice cooked in balsamic vinegar.

My mom ironed all of my clothes when I was a wee child. Then again, she is an insane person. I think I was 15 when I finally convinced her I didn't need creases ironed into my jeans.

I wish I could do your job instead of working at the bookstore. :(

All I could think was "balls-matic" rice. Which could be a strange compliment, at best, or, at worst, something I will decline to comment upon further, lest I broach my genteel Southern nature. And no Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been in has beer on tap. In fact, I don't think I've ever been an any sort of restaurant that wasn't something atrocious along the vein of Ham's or Ruby Gluesday's where beer -was- on tap.

And, ew. Rice in balsamic vinegar kind of gives me the willies.

And, I duplicate Sarah. I'd rather not be a cashier to the troglodytes today (since all the advanced-cranial-capacity people will most likely be at political rallies or any number of outdoor festivals happening today). But it sure seems enjoyable, your jorb.

before baby i probably hadn't ironed in 2 years (somehow i convince dan to iron when i have an "occassion" for it), but now i'm constantly ironing little dresses, shirts, and pants... i can't stop myself! and i thought once "oh this is crazy" and then i got a group email about someone who made a dress for a baby and saw her wearing it, HORRORS, WRINKLED. People notice! needless to say, my child is pretty much always ironed (unless she is in knits...)
