lj idol, pumpkins, radio

threeplusfireLJ Idol voting is happening once again. I'm in the third group. If you want me to keep writing, please vote for me. There are also numerous other interesting entries to read over there.
Twice this week I've confused Muse and Radiohead on the radio. I also heard the new Axl Rose song, since Chinese Democracy is actually probably coming out by the end of the year. I think that is only happening because tracks were leaked on the internet. It made me sad. I can sort of hear Guns N Roses in there, but then it just doesn't sound like them and sounds like every other radio band out there. Not that a band shouldn't grow and change, but there's not a good progression in there. Of course, it could be partially because Axl has been holed up in the studio for more than a decade and is the only original band member left. By contrast, Velvet Revolver has a much more recognizable GNR sound.
I'll be honest. I spent a large portion of my day sleeping. It was nice.
We have pumpkins and Halloween candy. A house on the corner has a strange Jack o lantern diorama. One pumpkin is holding a gun to the head of another pumpkin. I need to try and get a photo.
