See now, I have something kind of like that which is some material that just SUCKS the water from my head. It's awesome. Cuts the time I need with my hair dryer to almost nothing.

...but I would never LEAVE it for someone though I might give one as gift, if someone has hair they've complained about. but not as a thank you gift.
