sitting in the dark

Drank glasses of gin and watched my friends play pool this evening. Smoked and laughed every time someone shot the ball off the table. Happened more times than one would think, maybe because Jim and Justin were drinking Shiner. The bar reminded me of places I would go with my father when I was younger.

Came home early to write some, and read more from my writer friend. We have the most interesting conversations.

Almost bought a plane ticket this morning but decided against it at the last second.
