I wish I was a coffee

Today is very grey, sort of chilly and not quite damp enough to be damp but still uncomfortable. I did the grocery shopping early and then slept through the afternoon.

Pumpkin likes to sit in the exact center of the living room rug, like a little gold lion statue.

I am unfortunately uninteresting today.

If I were a coffee today, I think I'd be rancid and overboiled.

I wish I were a hazelnut almond latte, able to make people smile at my swirls and fragrance.

Tomorrow, perhaps, I can be a latte. Today I am just diner dregs.

I'm feeling underdone - I would like to be a nice double espresso with some hazelnut to add a pinch of sweetness.
