It is strange to think the movie hasn't shown on a big screen since 1983, until tonight. The Drafthouse sold out the showing, and Peter S. Beagle showed up to answer questions, tell stories and sign books. He seemed surprised to see such a big crowd. I think I just babbled a bit, about loving bumbling wizards. It was great.

Yes, yes it did! Mwuhahahah- world premiere, hours ahead of Australia! :D

It was funny because apparently they started showing Wrath of Khan, but the print looked bad and then it caught on fire and did the melty thing. So Tim (the owner) sprints out of the theater and tells the other guys to do some Q&A with the crowd while he fixes stuff. Then Nimoy comes out and SURPRISE MOVIE PREMIERE! I sooo wish I had gone now.
