THIS PEOPLE. This is why I find the apathy and shrugs maddening, the defense of Amazon so enraging. Oh, it's not a violent act like beating people in the streets outside a bar or turning fire hoses on a protest. But this sort of insidious shit will continue to creep into our lives until we stand up and say "NO MORE." This little stuff will poison everything.

I'm extremely sick of being told that I was "part of a witch hunt" and that I "owe Amazon an apology." People aren't even bothering to hide their actual agendas anymore, judging from some of the "YOU PEOPLE always overreact to this stuff" I'm seeing.

eff amazon. they lost my business when they sent me a bs reply to my complaint. i've spent more money at amazon than any other online retailer ever. If they aren't 100% on board with supporting gays, they don't deserve my hard-earned cash.

have you found a new site that compares with amazon? i'm thinking about alibris because it has a wishlist too, but i figure you're pretty up on shit so maybe there's something better?
