- This banner ad that keeps appearing in my yahoo mail account starts off with "It takes two hours to poison a dog..." It makes me nauseous. I try to contribute to various animal rescue and welfare groups, and I understand the tactical point of using such a grim statement in advertising. But I just can't look at it right now.

- I need to get my car inspected/registered, roll over my state retirement into my new 401K, get a new passport, clean the fridge and probably a million things I forgot.

- Today I woke up in agonizing pain, as if someone was threading acidic needles through my body. I hope this is not related to the fact that I've been eating Tums a lot this week.

- I can't remember what it was like to not be in some kind of pain.

- Hopefully our large item will arrive in a couple days. Then I will row away while watching Top Chef.

- I keep confusing the laundry and dishes in my speech. I hope this is not a sign of madness.

Just don't confuse them in an evening out! (BTW, I was watching the commentary for Beastmaster- my roommate's idea, I swear- and when they said that Rip Torn wanted to play his character "like a turkey vulture," I thought of you. So there's that :)
