It's 82F right now, down from the high of 103 just an hour ago. I can't remember the last time it was 82 in daylight, much less at 4:30pm in the afternoon. It looks like it might even rain. This is very exciting, after 56 straight days of temperatures over 100 degrees.

It's cloudy here, but we only got two spits of rain. Hadn't occurred to me that the temp might have dropped nicely, though. I think I'll go walk to the mailbox. Oooh, exciting. For the past 3 months I've only gotten the mail if I'm driving somewhere, lol.

I saw the tiniest sprinkle of rain, but nothing more. I heard some thunder though.

When I read this, I literally ran outside to feel it for myself. And then I mowed the lawn and swept up our patio, because I haven't been willing to get up at 7a.m. to do it.

LOL, I have a cat alarm clock who made sure I was up at 7:30 yesterday to mow the law. And I still didn't feed her until 9. =P
