For my gluten avoiding friends, the most awesome gluten free birthday cupcakes ever. They look super good.

The front yard is starting to go. I have decided to only concentrate on watering the trees and the bushes. Oddly, we have these giant stalks of grass around 5 feet tall by the front window. I don't know why they are thriving, but they are. We're on stage two watering restrictions now, which means I'm going to gleefully call 311 if I see that moron down the street washing his driveway again. The heat is merciless. Yesterday there were clouds, grey clouds, but no rain. We're up to 64 days over 100+ degrees. When it's 95 at 10pm, life gets unpleasant. I'm going to have to force myself to get up and go to the grocery store early tomorrow. Just walking to the mailbox this afternoon gave me a headache.

Oh yes. When we decided to buy this house, one of the primary factors was the new duct work, new windows, new doors and super efficent A/C system. So we can afford to keep the house pretty cold thank god. Otherwise we would die.

Why in the name of God would you wash your driveway when there are water restrictions? It's a god damn driveway. It gets dusty - not muddy, since you obviously haven't had rain. People are so stupid.

I know, I know! It makes me totally crazy. I mean, even if I was going to wash my car, I would pull it off the driveway and onto the yard.

It will be not quite as hot as here, but much much stickier. With bonus chance of hurricanes.

I mostly like Orlando for the Wolfgang Puck's at Disney Downtown, and the museum in Winter Park that has lots of Tiffany windows. The theme parks are plenty of fun for adults, though, if you wanted to bring Mike and spend a week there.
