It's raining today, steady gray skies and water. The news says it is raining in New York City today also. No eerie blue skies like that Tuesday or many of the past eight years. Watching these moments every year, the documentaries, the memorials - it hurts to see. It's terrible and I can't look away, because I think I have to watch and remember these things.

I can still remember every detail of that day. How unreal it seemed to hear the radio announcers talking about what was happening. I was on my way to get my hair cut.
