Happiness can, and does, come in the mail

Not so long ago, that time sink FaceBook redeemed itself by putting me back in touch with one of my friends that I haven't seen in more than a decade. John is currently living in Japan, and sent me this incredible box of snacks and charms and things. It is quite possibly one of the most awesome packages I've ever received in the mail, and certainly boasts the most different kinds of rice snacks I've had at one time. John also thoughtfully included notes and explanations, since I can't read any Japanese.
