Autumn cupcake party

So what if I only have half a dozen guests? Seven dozen cupcakes are totally necessary. Four dozen are mini cupcakes anyhow, so they should only count as one. I made this incredibly fluffy butter cake, then decorated with a bit of sugar glaze and mellowcreme pumpkins and green sugar sprinkles. On the cupcake tree, I have a batch of caramel apple cupcakes that I feel excited about. I was inspired by Cupcake Royale, which has a caramel apple cupcake this month. I baked some apple slices coated in cinnamon and sugar and mixed them into the cake. They are topped with this caramel that is almost like a fondant in its softness.
