threeplusfireToday has held minor victories. I watered the tree. I wrapped some presents. I went to the mail box. I wrote 200 hundred words of Yuletide story and possibly have a better idea of what I'm doing now. Little, little things.
Last night we went to a Terror Tuesday, when the Drafthouse shows movies you will never be able to see on the big screen anywhere. AS a sort of David Carradine memorial, it was Q: The Winged Serpent. A movie about a giant serpentine bird god terrorizing NYC from the Chrysler building, with Carradine and Michael Moriarty. Totally, totally awesome. I have an affection for the old school giant monster movie.
Speaking of awesome: Dangerous Wands Please tell me someone is writing this fic right now. Or wants to write that with me. I suppose I should actually watch Dangerous Minds? I saw that Gangster's Paradise video so many times in my teens that I feel I already have.
Did I just see Ridley Scott is making a Robin Hood movie? That could be supremely fun.
