American Apparel is now printing a warning in their leggings: WARNING: These tights are not pants. AWESOME AWESOME HAHAHAHAHAH. While I still sort of think American Apparel is creepy and weird, at least they are aware of the problem.

In Whole Foods today I saw someone wearing capri length sweat pants with big beige Ugg boots and carrying a purse the size of a small suitcase. She looked like some Botox overdose cross between Paris Hilton and the Olsen twins, wearing those giant bug sunglasses. It was weird. But really, those ciabatta rolls at Whole Foods are so addictive and delicious. Bread noms!

A Sweet Valley High sequel is real. Too weird. I confess to having read a large number of Sweet Valley High books out of morbid fascination when I was about eleven.

Stephen Colbert's Olympic poster is so great. I sort of want to print up a version as big as my old Soviet propaganda posters and frame it. The Olympics are about to begin! So exciting. Though the practice luge death today was a scary, scary thing to read about - the luge has always seemed super dangerous to me.

considering you can download the poster in pdf form from colbernation.com, I"m sure you could then take/send it to a printer and have them print it at the size you need. ;)
