Oh yay, my favorite Saturday popcorn movie is on - the so awful but fun Constantine. The real reason to watch this movie is Tilda Swinton's bizarre, beautiful and compelling portrayal of the Archangel Gabriel. For whatever reason, I can watch this movie over and over. I don't know why.

Foolishly I had to go to the grocery store this evening. The crowds, the annoying.

My grandfather-in-law sent me a cookbook. What Episcopalians Do after Dinner is a hilarious title. I love an all dessert cookbook from someone's church. You know it is going to be good.

Re: 'Constantine' - I was saying the same thing to some friends the other night. I'm fascinated by Swinton's androgyny (in this role and in 'Orlando' too), the scene at the pool with the knife, everything.

I've always liked the Monastery Kitchen books!

I have the same reaction to Constantine - while the movie itself is undeniably terrible, I keep watching it, and loving every second that Gabriel is on screen.

I love Constantine. Lots. I also love Tilda Swinton in her role. So hot and interesting all at once.
