The mail had a surprise yesterday. I put off walking down to the boxes all day because of the humid air, and to be honest, because I was playing Dragon Age instead of doing any chores. There was a package from my favorite Texan living in NYC schmidtybooger! The pirate kitty inside brought me some plunder, a book about Texas bats! How awesome, awesome. I look forward to learning tons of facts and bombarding you with them all.

My cat is no pirate, but yesterday he caught a fly. We're very proud.
