Today I drank my pitcher of delicious iced coffee. Yay.

I had to reboot my phone and factory rest it recently to fix some issues. This resulted in my Google talk constantly being signed in - so if you have messaged me and I have not responded that's probably why. I'm also behind on emails to an unprecedented degree. Like most things, when I get out of the routine it proves almost impossible to get back.

What I really need to do is find an app that stops the ring notifications for emails and the like so those don't wake me up before my alarm goes off. Mike has one, but I will probably have to upgrade my Android version to get one that works on my G1. Between 7am and 7:30am three emails and a gchat message pinged me away.

I love funny French movies. They make me happy. It's just something about French humor. We're watching OSS 117 - Cairo Nest of Spies. Hilarious.

Netflix seems disinclined to ever send me Mad Men disc one, so I'm going to watch The September Issue next. I thought I should watch some Anna Wintour in action before I read Tim Gunn's new book.

The gchat was me. :( I'm sorry.

Haha it is okay. It was for the worthy notion of chocolate covered Peeps after all! :D

I was just so excited about it! I'd just heard it on the radio about 15 minutes before.

Next time, I will temper my enthusiasm until a more reasonable hour.

Hee. I went and bought some today. Plus some regular Peeps to put on brownies. Nom nom nom.

What did you think of The September Issue? I really enjoyed it.

It was fascinating - the use of that Ladytron song at the beginning was perfect. I really, really loved the attention given to Grace Coddington and how she provided a sort of counterweight to Wintour's poker face. It was a lovely thing to watch the construction of a magazine.

Grace Coddington's the best! I want to have lunch with her. She's so imaginative and witty. :) I thought Ms. Wintour came off rather well despite all the rumors. Tim Gunn dished out a delicious bit of scandale about her. I haven't read his book yet, though I'm eager to.

I just got his book today, so I'm looking forward to finding out. I don't doubt that she has appalling behavior. But I did get the impression there was more to her than just the demon pope of the fashion cult. She seems to be so forcefully living her vision into the world.

I love Grace Coddington and also want to lunch with her. We should throw a party and invite her. :D

That would be excellent. I would even take Claritin so she could bring her kittycats. :D

My friend Brian is in that movie. He is the one that almost does a spit-take in the background.
So funny!
