Today I baked a soft chocolate cake and covered it with coffee frosting and crushed hazelnuts. It's made me think I really need a fancy cake stand with a glass dome.

I also finished pulling the masking tape off a pair shoes that I turned into David Bowie shoes. They were a cheap pair from Payless, bought at least six or seven years ago. Five dollars worth of modge podge and glitter have transformed them.

Thanks! I used a paintbrush, and mixed the glitter in with the modgepodge to just paint it on in a couple coats. There are a few lumpy spots on the heels when I was trying to learn what the best glue/glitter ratio was, but overall it came out well.

I did use that link! It worked out really, really, shockingly well. You could probably use this method on anything. I'm tempted to paint my luggage.
