Today I baked a soft chocolate cake and covered it with coffee frosting and crushed hazelnuts. It's made me think I really need a fancy cake stand with a glass dome.

I also finished pulling the masking tape off a pair shoes that I turned into David Bowie shoes. They were a cheap pair from Payless, bought at least six or seven years ago. Five dollars worth of modge podge and glitter have transformed them.

Those shoes are awesome! You should wear them to the potluck at my house on Thursday with that much shiney I might even forget to shake you down for pie. :)
