W00tstock 2.9, featuring Neil Gaiman as Wil Wheaton.

We went to W00tstock last night, which was probably the best way to avoid having to listen to or read election night coverage. (Seriously, again with Gov. Good Hair? UGH) Anyway!

We had fantastic seats, with a perfect view of the stage and conveniently a great view of the ASL interpreters. Thanks to Neil Gaiman and Adam Savage, we all learned what the signs for "elephant spunk" and "cocksucking." Aside from those educational moments there was a lot of humor and fun and good music. They described the show as "nerd vaudeville" and I think that was a pretty accurate description.

Things worked out that we made it in excellent time, we got great parking, and the show was fantastic. It was one of the best concert experiences I've had in awhile. Yay for the Paramount and W00tstock 2.9!

Ack. Had a ticket, wanted to go, had too much to do for the Celtic Festival, gave coworker ticket. Glad you had a great time!

(Hey, interested in coming to the Austin Celtic Festival? It's lots of fun!)
