threeplusfireSometime in the middle of the night, something beeped. Loudly. I got up at 5am to wander around the house but it didn't happen again. Afterward I had intensely vivid dreams about my journalism friends. Everyone wore brightly colored jackets. Strange. But I overslept half an hour into my work this morning. Oops.
This week has felt exhausting, with doctor and therapy and work headaches. I've not written much at all, here or on anything. I have an idea for a short story I really want to do but it goes slow. I need to think about doing the fiddly bits of house cleaning I put off all year long. I need to think about what I'll make for Thanksgiving. Most of the traditional things are not foods I enjoy. I dislike yams, a lot of gourds and turkey. I'll probably make a ham. I like ham.
