There is nothing I want more right now than to watch DVDs of things I love, and have a hot meal that I didn't have to cook and curl up in my chair waiting for the promise of cooler weather. Instead I am cleaning up cat vomit, unable to run the water because there appears to be a substantial leak inside a wall and connected to the water heater. Of course it is the day before a major holiday and none of the places I called actually answered their phones or even had answering machine messages to announce when they would come back to work. My phone is becoming increasingly non-functional and won't ring. My check engine light is on and the engine is making some uncomfortable, expensive sounds. I can't even go get myself take out and eat in peace. My in-laws are here, for this major holiday that I am supposed to be cooking. The borscht is done, but I abandoned any thoughts of baking once the leak became noticeable. Instead I'm concentrating on not melting down because this sort of household crisis is exactly the kind of thing that sends me into a spinning panic attack.

I am so sorry honey. I'm sure they understand ruisia nothing you can control. Order take out tonight and try to relax. Can Mike take a tunr trying to reach plumbers?
