I am craving peppermint bark and gingerbread cookies. I am thinking about attempting some gingerbread making in a day or two. Probably after Christmas I'll take all the candy canes off the tree and smash them into a dessert. Not being able to go crazy with holiday baking makes me a little melancholy.

The pain is bearable and getting better. Soon I will be around more. I hope. Sitting up is the worst, so I am either standing or or stretched out on the sofa. It's tiresome and I wish I was doing other things, but well. Better than some alternatives. But not being able to drive or do my own grocery shopping or go get coffee or sushi makes me cranky.

Also, I think my Yuletide writer defaulted and it depresses me way more than it should.

It's a cloudy, chilly day so time to watch a movie.

I'm hoping. Some amazing stories come out of the pinch hit club, and last year I ended up writing a couple treats that I was absurdly proud of and the recipients liked.

Mostly I'm anxious about whether my person will like the story I wrote. It's a fandom I adore!

I am so tempted to order sushi delivery. It is expensive but might be worth it. I hope your holiday parent time is going well!
