My new favorite animal is the wereswan. I have decided this based on Aronofsky's comments about Black Swan being a story of transformation.

Yesterday I ordered sushi delivery - it was okay, took too long to get here and was too expensive for something that didn't wow me. I have yet to have any dining experience connected to the Domain that pleased me really.

We watched Repo Men last night. You know, the creepy organ repo guys in the weird, dystopian future. It made me sad. A couple days earlier we watched Scott Pilgrim and I was distinctly underwhelmed. The visuals, the aesthetic of the movie, the music - those parts were pretty fun and delightful. But I couldn't find any reason to care about the characters. I felt bad for Knives and sort of hated almost everyone else. Maybe if I had read the books first. But I just could not care about Scott or Ramona, which was weird. I love Michael Cera so i felt confused by my inability to really connect with this movie.

Today I am feeling a bit better. Less pained and more sore. It is still almost impossible to bend from the waist.

I am 90% sure I wrapped the books I meant to be reading in one of Mike's Christmas presents. Damn it!

Yeah, again I'm not an expert - but I felt the same way about the leads in the movie as you do. I was all like, "Who would want to date some girl with these many crazy exes, and what the hell did she do to them to make them so mad?" Seriously, do you want to be ex number 8?
I don't know if I want to invest the time to read the books to see if my hunch is right.

But yes, the movie is so pretty I might buy it to see it again.
