I've delayed all day, not wanting to update because the December 2010 will slip away from my main LJ page when I look next. Then I accidentally slept away the afternoon, reading in bed. So here is my new year, not so unlike the one before it but strange enough that I wonder what we might do with it.

My biggest hope right now is the perpetual soreness of my right side will improve soon.

My biggest fear is that I will not get anything done.

Tomorrow we have to take down the Christmas tree. I will miss it, so green and large.

I had some surgery in mid-December to remove my uterus, and the right side is where the largest incision was. It takes awhile for that feeling to go away, though it is healing beautifully. My surgeon was amazing with his work.

oh okay! well, i'm glad to hear you're healing well. :) an acquaintance of mine also had hers removed and i heard the post op pain is terrible. >.
