I really wish I was inundated with ads for Cinco de Mayo instead of Mother's Day. I would be a much happier person all around.

I do have a good relationship with my mother, but all she gets is a phone call. The ads don't bring up painful memories for me; they're just annoying, trying to shill [product] for the sake of a made-up holiday.
