threeplusfirePerhaps people were mad about the Rapture Fail, or just the awful muggy weather, but people were driving like shit today. I saw an accident on South Lamar and later almost had one myself. It was a terrible day to be driving all over town. I also screwed up my pin number with my rarely used ATM card, meaning I couldn't buy an awesome bat necklace.
On the brighter side of things, I got to hang out with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
redstapler and drink coffee and mimosas. We brunched delightfully and I showed her the true path of Kerbey Lane Queso. Then we went to this crazy craft fair that was like wandering around the Etsy website. We were surrounded by owls, mustaches and hipsters. Some guy tried to convince us we needed furry hats for furry sex. It was a little awkward. All in all, pretty good though.
I met Mike at the Alamo Ritz for the Cage-athon Master Pancake. It's amazing how much weird, weird, weird stuff that one man has done. I still think The Vampire's Kiss is one of the funniest things ever. Also I had a delicious cocktail made of gin, champagne and Paula's orange. Zesty!
