attempt 3 of road day one
Stupid mobile site keeps eating posts and I am weary of typing on my phone.
Drove about 560 miles yesterday. Hands only hurt a little.
Thought about a detour to my grandfather's grave, but he isn't really there. Better to seek him out at the grand canyon where he took me.
We saw many wonders yesterday. A metal sea serpent swimming a field of prairie grass and cedar. Dust devils rippling along empty Pandhandle fields. Miles of West Texas wind farms wher hundreds of three armed giants spun from horizon to horizon. A single bolt of lightning that split the sky as we drove in the shadow of a cloud. Rain falling in the sunlight.
