I wonder if it's hard to run on cobblestones. I ran once through Prague, but I didn't pay attention to the ground until I hurt myself.

My roommates are at the football game. I've been watching Cousin Bette and playing online. Should really be studying. Something. It's hard to care. I'm way too fragmentary today. No concentration.

I miss living alone. I liked it so much more.

Drinking Moscow Mules and reading, watching the sunlight drift down. It's nice this way.

Given that you are my Russian Lit expert: Have you read anything by Isaac Babel? I read an essay on him by Lionel Trilling, particularly his collection of stories called Red Cavalry, and it sounds fascinating. Turns out his collected works will be published in November 2001. Although there are several Bulgakov fans listed in LJ, there are no Isaac Babel fans. What is the deal?

Hope all is well.

Hmm. I think I've read one Babel story in a Russian class, but it was some time ago. Neat. I shall have to check him out. The name is familiar.
Hmmmm... must check this out.
