is it yuletide yet oh dear

It's kind of nice to have a fandom again. I mean, I love all the fandoms ever but I haven't felt like I had a home in one for some time. But the Yogscast is so great. Even the forums are pretty sweet as they have serious business moderators so the normal noise of most gaming forums is much lower. They've been raising money for Oxfam for Christmas and the advent calendar is hilarious. Lots of TNT. I need some icons of appropriately Yogscast-y things.

My Yuletide story is not done. I'm seriously considering drinking a bottle of wine and staying up all night to do it. At least I know what it is! The idea was hard to hammer into shape.

I am so thankful for the soaking rain and cloudy skies these past couple weeks. It is so wonderful. They estimate it would take six months of this weather to take us out of the drought, which is nigh impossible. But whatever momentary relief it brings, I'm so glad.
