During the fires last summer, I followed one of the local news outlets on Twitter because they were always on the ball and I just kept them because it was easy. They also provided rush hour traffic updates during the week, noting all the accidents that slowed up the road in the morning and evening. Over the course of about four months I became increasingly anxious and fretful about driving, to the point that I was avoiding going to places. It finally dawned on me about a month ago that it was connected to these traffic updates. So I removed that from my twitter stream and the anxiety has noticeably decreased.

If only all things were so easy to fix.

As I continue to be a minor medical mystery, my doctor prescribed some heavy vitamin D supplements. They are 50,000 units of vitamin D, in transparent green orbs that feel as hard and dense as glass marbles. Since I don't consume a lot of straight up milk, I'm going to have to buy that vitamin D fortified orange juice and spend concentrated time outside. That's fine really. What I want to do is buy a hammock, so I have a place to read in the yard.

Playing lots of Minecraft, building things and adventuring beneath the earth. I'm thinking about build a house out of obsidian.

Made some delicious coffee for breakfast, at a tangerine and some cinnamon bread. Looking forward to a quiet weekend.

For *just* a second, I missed that this was in relation to Minecraft. "Obsidian, you say...?"

Hooray hammock!!

There is exactly one thing I miss about my ex boyfriend: The hammock on his porch, overlooking the lake. And since he was renting, what I really miss is his landlord. :D

Seriously, though, you should get a hammock.
