Ice pear!

Ice pear!, originally uploaded by sadpear.

I built molds, layer by layer out of dirt. Poured in buckets of water and waited for it to freeze. The top stem is a snow block and I clipped some leaves from one of the pines for the leaf. This ice pear sculpture came out pretty nice! (What's that in the background on the right? Only a SCALE MODEL of the Hindenburg.

I've seen Minecraft around a lot on the gaming Twitter accounts I follow.

Do you enjoy it a lot? I haven't tried it yet, but I'm super curious.

I love Minecraft. The way I explain it to people is that it is like having a gigantic supply of Legos you never worry about stepping on in the middle of the night. :D It's very free form, there's no story but the one you create. I just love building random stuff, and I've seen people build some unbelievable creations.
