My mood has been all over the place. It's a constant mental dissection of whether I'm (emotion) because I'm actually (emotion) or if it is just because my brain is on the fritz while dealing with unpleasant concepts I have no control over.

On the brighter side, I bought some music and played it really loud. Yay. And I made some pies.

On the even brighter side, I've outed myself to some of my video game friends as being trans. The overwhelming response is "okay, that's cool, hey do you want to build a giant sphere of TNT and blow it up?" I don't know if it is just the internet or that most of them are younger and living on the cusp of a generation that didn't grow up the same way I did, or what really. But it is so fucking wonderful that they accept me as I am and don't seem fussed about it at all.

Things have changed so much over the past decade or so. I was talking to another friend about this the other day, how when Amy came out the only support for spouses basically consisted of "QUICK LEAVE THE LYING BASTARD" and now it's "hey, that's cool, let's go do X."

There's a lot wrong with the world today, but there's a lot right too.

You're welcome! Hahahaha, I don't mean that in a TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS way, but as someone who's 22, I'm often disillusioned with my peers and the world, but then in other ways sometimes it hits me how AMAZING and DIFFERENT things are than they were when you were my age.
