For someone so appalled by the idea of internal organs and our flesh, I spend a lot of time having surgery and becoming acquainted with them. The universe has a perverse sense of humor I guess. But today feels a little better maybe? I had a bit of a rage cry yesterday, not being able to do things and feeling like absolute hell for reasons the drugs couldn't touch. I'm hoping that passes and maybe I'll have another cry. But my friends, you have all been so good to me. I owe everyone a million thank yous and replies.
How can I possibly have a pimple given the amount of antibiotics and vitamins I'm taking? Yuck. That's my ridiculous oily skin. I can only hope it rewards me with a lack of wrinkles later in life or something.
I wouldn't trade this for anything though.

Date: 2012-04-20 03:16 pm (UTC)Rage cries are good! I'm so fed up with being sore with this strained shoulder I spent the evening in bed staring at the ceiling and feeling sorry for myself even though I was fully capable of doing many other things at the time. LOL
I hope your recovery goes quickly.

Date: 2012-04-21 02:15 am (UTC)...I do, however, have pretty excellent looking skin now, so yes, the years of oil and pimples do pay off eventually. Also, Lush's lemslip was the best thing I ever found for keeping pimples away. They reformulated it a while back and it's not quite as good, but still nice.
I have to admit that I've been jealous of you the last few days. I'm getting killer upper back spasms every night, and I'm pretty sure my boobs are what's causing it, because I haven't been able to tolerate wearing a bra in a couple of weeks. I've decided that once I stop nursing and can finally get a reduction, I'm going to ask the surgeon to take me all the way down to an A cup, because I am SO OVER THIS.
