I saw the moon in a gap in the clouds

Saw Looper tonight, which was an understated thing of beauty. I really enjoyed it. I'm going to have to see it again. Sometimes I wish I could see movies like that without having any idea of anything. But the trailer doesn't give too much away.

Rain. Steady quiet rain. Not the dramatic storms I hoped for, but probably better this way. There are snails crossing the sidewalk. I saw a grey, wet mouse this morning run across the yard by the back fence.

I've forgotten if there is an actual emotional space between happiness and despair. Most of the time I pretend. Fake it until you make it, I suppose. But it just does not seem to stop being so damn hard.

Sometimes I just listen to this song over and over.
